I didn't go to the US with the intention of birdwatching - but it was an excellent opportunity! How could I pass up the chance to watch grackles and quail, pelicans and harriers?
Well, I bored my poor host silly by getting excited whenever I saw some new bird (and they were nearly all new birds to me) so she bought me some bird books to keep me quiet. Hopefully I can identify and show you the birds I saw in Airzona and California.
